Pluto Retrograde April 23rd - September 30th 2018: Power comes from within

Ambi Sitham

Hoping to be able to say the same as Jim Starlin soon!

Hoping to be able to say the same as Jim Starlin soon!

Hello lovely ones and happy Tuesday!

Yesterday, cosmic powerhouse Pluto began his annual retrograde.

His retrograde lasts approximately five months and starts at 21 degrees Capricorn and ends at 18 degrees Capricorn.

Check where you have these degrees of Capricorn in your chart and also any planets in Capricorn at these degrees (also see the Soulstrology zodiac guide at the bottom of this blog to see the general life areas of this transit for your sun and rising sign).

Pluto retrograde is not to be feared. As with the other bigger, outer planets such as Jupiter and Saturn who recently began their annual retrogrades, the retrograde motion of Pluto does not have so much of a visceral effect on our lives.

However Soulstrology says that does not mean that we should underestimate Pluto's retrograde motion which is a powerful cosmic window to work with.

Over the next six months we can all look at issues of power and control, both of which are very Plutonian themes.

As I am sure you are all aware by now, Pluto is over halfway through a very potent transit of Capricorn.

Capricorn in the natural zodiac rules success, status, power, ambition, career but ultimately our soul's legacy.

These are areas of life which many of us will grapple with over our lifetimes.

Soulstrology tells us that we can create power within ourselves, we can experience it externally.

But in order to do so we must have control over our egos and shadow selves.

We must learn not to need to control external circumstances but rather to control our reaction to external circumstances.

We must learn to become powerful within our psyches and to own that power regardless of our seeming power or status to the outside world.

It may seem easier said than done but I hope that over the next six months this is something each of us can work on to create a shift within ourselves that will then birth a shift in our lives.

This week as La Luna grows to fullness and illuminates matters in each of our lives I ask each of you to look at what is being brought to the surface and to ask yourself if the themes of power and control may be playing a role in what is being highlighted by the cosmos.

I will be writing more on this in the forthcoming Scorpio Full Moon blog which I will share here later this week/early weekend.

But for now, perhaps listen to one of the soundbaths, meditate and journal on these themes of power and control and how they may be playing out in your life.

Love,

Ambi x

Chiron in Aries April 18th - September 26th 2018: Identity crisis? Fear not it's a taste of the alchemy to come...

Ambi Sitham

ChironinAries.jpg

Hello lovely ones and happy Monday (or, depending on where you live perhaps happy Tuesday by the time you read this!).

Last week, the day after Saturn turned retrograde, Chiron moved out of Pisces after an eight year stay (he entered Pisces in April 2010) and into Aries.

This is part of his almost nine year transit of the Aries ruled part of the zodiac and therefore our charts but due to his annual retrograde motion he will also dip back into Pisces in September and only return to Aries next February 9 2019.

Chiron as I am sure you know by now, is the wounded healer.

The mighty centaur who suffered with terrible wounds but managed to heal others and was a wise counsel to many.

It was because of his wounds and the suffering that Chiron experienced that he was able to acquire the wisdom which allowed him to help others.

In may ways the poison of his wound, contained the cure, for others and for himself, as it helped him to manage his suffering by being of service to others.

Soulstrology tells us that Chiron transits will bring up wounds for us in the life areas which he is transiting.

These are wounds which need to be brought to the light so that we can alchemize them and ultimately so that we can acquire great wisdom through that process and can indeed become victors of those wounds rather than victims.

Soulstrology tells us that this year during Chiron's initial transit of Aries we may experience some wounds in the life areas which Aries rules in our charts.

They may be fresh wounds, or old wounds which are brought to the surface.

We need to pay close attention to what happens over the next six months and the specific wounds which we incur, or which are re-opened, as this will tell us what much of the work we will need to do over the Chiron in Aries transit is and how we can use cosmic consciousness to work with the energies and turn that wound into wisdom more quickly so that we can be victors rather than victims...

Remember that Aries in the natural zodiac rules the self.

Our identity, autonomy and appearance, our personal goals and how we go about pursuing and ultimately manifesting what we desire.

To some degree we may experience an identity crisis of sorts in the life areas which Chiron is transiting because the Aries influence there will place the focus on OURSELVES and how we operate in those specific areas of life.

For example if Chiron in Aries is transiting our second house (of our personal finances, income, possessions, values, self-esteem) we may go through an identity crisis regarding our possessions, what we do to make a living, what we value and our self-esteem.

If Chiron is transiting our seventh house (of partnerships of all kinds, platonic, romantic, professsional) then we may experience an identity crisis within these partnerships raising us to ask who am I within this interpersonal relationship and as a result potentially leading to disconnections if your higher self is not truly aligned with those beings etc - side note - I went through this when Chiron was in Pisces transiting my natal seventh but the transformation and process of alchemy resulted in my marriage and new career!).

You are hopefully getting the picture of how this Chiron transit may play out and can use the Soulstrology zodiac guide below to check where this is playing out in your unique chart.

Please do not be fearful as unlike the Chiron in Pisces transit which had many harsh aspects, this Chiron in Aries transit is actually largely unaspected and the major aspects it does make are very fortunate so Soulstrology tells us this could be a revolution of self that leads to an evolution of self in the areas of life which Aries rules in our charts!

Nonetheless, with a Full Moon around the corner (this Sunday PT) and the double whammy intensity of Saturn and now Pluto (blog coming on this soon!) going retrograde it is safe to say that each of us may feel some intensity coming up this week which may be related to the new Chiron in Aries transit.

More on this soon but for now please check the Soulstrology zodiac guide to see where this Chiron in Aries transit is playing out in your chart.

Please read for your sun sign and your rising sign.

Love,

Saturn Retrograde April 17th - September 6th 2018: Karmic contracts and responsibilities

Ambi Sitham

Wise words from my fellow Sagittarius compatriot

Wise words from my fellow Sagittarius compatriot

Hello lovely ones and happy Tuesday!

I hope/trust the New Moon treated you well.

As you will know, Mercury turned direct on the day of the New Moon.

We are now in the shadow period which will continue until May 3rd and the first week of the shadow is usually the shadiest.

However in this case the shadow effect has been lessened somewhat by the powerful Aries New Moon which was fueled by the liberating energies of Uranus to bring sudden change to matters which may have felt a bit stuck over the last few weeks.

However just days after Mercury stationing direct and the New Moon, cosmic life coach Saturn begins his annual retrograde today Tuesday 17th April.

This will be a five month retrograde which will take us through to September 6th 2018.

Retrogrades of the outer planets (the bigger planets like Saturn, Pluto, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Chiron) are not as visceral as those of the smaller planets who orbit closer to Earth (think Mercury, Mars and Venus).

Nonetheless they provide powerful cosmic windows of opportunity in which we can work with the retrograde motion to create changes in the areas of our charts (and therefore lives) which the planet is conducting retrograde motion in.

As you all know Saturn is in his home position in Capricorn because he is the ruler of Capricorn.

This makes his transit of the Capricorn ruled part of each of our charts very powerful for manifesting lasting effective change as this is the natural position of Saturn (unlike for example Saturn in Sagittarius).

We have had approximately five months of Saturn in Capricorn so far and during this time we hopefully did some of the homework (scroll/search for the Saturn in Capricorn Part 1 blog in January this year!) to evaluate where we are in the Capricorn ruled parts of each of our charts/lives and where we want to go.

During this five month period things would have happened in these areas of life.

We would have made decisions, taken action, lived.

Now is the time for a more reflective state upon the Capricorn ruled parts of each of our charts and lives where we will be experiencing a performance review of sorts of that time by Saturn the cosmic life coach.

As Saturn rules both karma and time, we are likely to discover over the next few months that we are reaping what we have sown to date in the Capricorn ruled parts of each of our charts since Saturn's transit of Capricorn started last December.

Although this may sound scary and like a punishment, it doesn't have to be!

It is simply cause and effect and if we don't like what we have experienced so far in the Capricorn ruled parts of our charts (or we experience over the next few months) it is time for us to reflect on our actions, the seeds we have sown and take responsibility for our karma and whatever fruits we have manifested, even if they are less than ripe, and even spoiled!

Soulstrology tells us that whatever we experience in the Capricorn ruled parts of each of our lives over the next few months (and indeed over the years of the Saturn in Capricorn transit) is karmic but that doesn't necessarily mean we did something 'bad' if we are experiencing something 'bad'.

It may mean that we are repaying a karmic debt from a previous lifetime and however unfair it may seem we simply have to take responsibility for what we experience and deal with it as best we can by being all things Saturn - responsible, practical, logical and reliable.

I think it is safe to say that each of us in this community wants greatness.

We each want to be the best version of ourselves and live our best lives.

And we can.

But with greatness comes great responsibility.

No-one who has done amazing things has done so without being responsible.

And being responsible means having great personal integrity, doing the right thing (often the hard thing) and working hard, consistently, to create what you want.

Saturn in Capricorn offers each of us great rewards but we need to be take responsibility in order to reap those rewards...

I will be writing more on Saturn in Capricorn and this retrograde soon but for now, read this blog, check the life areas which Saturn is transiting in your chart (Soulstrology zodiac guide is below) and let these themes and Soulstrology consciousness sit with you, meditate and journal on what comes up for you about the Capricorn ruled parts of your life.

More soon.

New Moon in Aries April 2018: The revolution is here. The freedom to be yourself and to flourish

Ambi Sitham

Aligning with your true self not only results in happiness but also means life aligns with you!

Aligning with your true self not only results in happiness but also means life aligns with you!

Hello lovely ones and happy nearly New Moon in Aries!

I hope this last week or so has treated you all well.

I may have said this before in a previous post but the combination of Mercury retrograde and Aries season has been INTENSE and fiery...thank goodness that we are slowly approaching a new cosmic chapter, on so many fronts.

This Sunday 15th April at just before 6pm PST (or Monday 16th April, depending on your timezone) we have a New Moon in Aries and we also see mischievous Mercury station direct.

This is possibly one of the most significant New Moons, not only of this year, but the last few years.

This is because Uranus, cosmic change agent and disruptor, is slowly coming to the end of his seven year transit of Aries which started in March 2011.

This is a seven year transit where the Aries part of each of our lives has undergone a complete overhaul, which at times would have manifested as total chaos, the rug being pulled out from underneath us - sudden change and endings - all turning our world upside down, but ultimately for our highest good.

There has been purpose to this process. The purpose has been to liberate us and for each of us to be (Aries rules the self) our true, zany selves (Uranus rules individuality and eccentricity) and for us to step into the future which is our destiny.

As you all probably know by now, Aries in the natural zodiac rules our the first house - the house of the SELF - being our identity, our appearance, how others view us, how we present ourselves to others, our personal autonomy, our individuality, and how we go about pursuing our personal goals and manifesting them.

Aries governs leadership and Soulstrology tells us that whether we realize it or not, each of us is a leader and has light to shine in our unique way, in a unique place.

For each of us in our personal natal charts this Uranus in Aries transit has been taking place in a different areas of life and has probably turned our world upside down but has also liberated us in the process.

Even though Aries rules different life areas in each of our charts what this transit (and now specifically this New Moon), is asking of us is to apply the natural zodiac themes ruled by Aries to the life areas governed by Aries in our unique charts.

I will use my chart as an example to help guide each of you to apply this Soulstrology consciousness to your own chart.

I am a Sagittarius sun sign and a Virgo rising.

In my solar chart (based on my sun sign of Sagittarius) Aries rules my 5th house of true love, children, creativity, self-expression, fun and hobbies.

In my natal chart (based on my rising sign of Virgo) Aries rules my 8th house of joint finances, sex, transformation and 'death'.

So, this Uranus in Aries transit has caused great upheaval in all the above areas of life but with a focus on my SELF (Aries) and my identity, autonomy, personal goals and how I pursue them in these areas of life.

I have experienced great chaos in ALL of the above areas of life but have now entered a brave new world where I can be my true self and own my personal identity and autonomy with regards to each of these areas of life.

Using the above as a guide (and using the Soulstrology zodiac guide to this New Moon which is at the bottom of this post) you will hopefully be able to see which life areas the Aries in Uranus transit has been impacting in your life and a la Mercury retrograde be able to REflect and REview them in order to REset them for a REvolution!

Because, here is the crazy beautiful cosmic synchronicity.....Uranus finishes his transit of Aries in April/early May and come mid-May he will start his transit of Taurus.

And at this New Moon he is at exactly the same degree as the Sun and Moon!

This means his energies of change, liberation and the freedom to step into our futures are fully blended with this New Moon  -the lunar cycle of which will take us through to the end of the Uranus in Aries transit  - so we can welcome the new Uranus in Taurus transit in May (more on this soon!)

It is like a gift from the cosmos that Mercury stations direct as we have this powerful New Moon that has rocket fuel from Uranus to create change, the kind of change we may have been working on for the last seven years but can now see come to fruition.

The Soulstrology theme of this New Moon is reflected in the title of this blog.

This really is a revolution. It is a revolution to allow us to be our true, unfettered selves.

And not only to bask in the joy that freedom that gives us but also to be able to flourish as our true selves.

This revolution has called for our evolution.

Many of us may look back to March 2011 and what was happening around that time or that year and think how much life has changed.

Perhaps it is in our personal lives, perhaps it is professional.

Either way, there will have been a revolution which called for your evolution.

Your evolution into your true self.

Not who you think you should be.

Not who your family think you should be.

Not who your peers or society or the media tells you that you should be.

But who you really are.

At this final stage of this revolution and over the next lunar cycle where each of us are thrust into a brave new world, we only need to do as Shakespeare so beautifully wrote in Hamlet,

"To thine own self be true"

It is as simple as that and Soulstrology tells us that if we are brave enough to do this, everything else in our lives WILL fall into place.

When we align with our true higher self, life aligns almost magically, things fall into place, the right people and opportunities present themselves, magic flows....

But, this does require us to listen to the whisper of our soul, it does require us to unshackle ourselves from the opinions of others, to discard the petty voice of our ego, to move beyond fear to faith.

The revolution occurs within and then the revolution occurs in your world.

During the last few weeks Mercury's retrograde may have brought the past knocking on our door.

It may have had us in deep REflection and contemplation, reviewing our lives and reconciling matters within our psyches.

In these next few days as the sky grows darker with not a trace of la luna visible, we must use this time to reflect further and to think carefully about whether we are being true to ourselves, to ask ourselves if chaos we are experiencing/have experienced in our lives is punishment or is the universe pushing us because we are living out of alignment and not being our true selves?

We must be brave, knowing that there is a beautiful bounty awaiting each of us as a reward for our bravery.

I encourage each of you to read this blog carefully, look at the Aries ruled parts of your charts, reflect on the themes of consciousness and on how life has played our and ask yourselves the questions above and answer them honestly.

The process of unbecoming who we think we were supposed to be, is the process of becoming our true selves.

Courage is always rewarded.

And freedom tastes oh so sweet.

So what are we waiting for?

The revolution is here. It just requires that final stage of evolution.

And then you can enjoy the beautiful bounty which awaits.

New Moon Mantras

I know that change is the only constant and that to change myself and my life is to be true to my self

I trust that it is safe to be my true self

I embrace evolving to the next version of myself and my life

As I embrace my true self I feel the support of the universe embracing my process of individuation

I trust in the process of evolution and know that it is a revolution which may bring bumps in the road but ultimately will set me free

I know that as I align with my true self, I will be rewarded with the manifestation of my desires

I am wishing you all the courage to evolve into your true self and the freedom to flourish in all areas of life.

Love,

Ambi x

Venus in Taurus April 1st - April 24th 2018: Love what you do, do what you love

Ambi Sitham

dowhatyoulovelovewhatyoudo.jpg

Hello lovely ones and happy Monday!

I hope the Full Moon was good to you all...and that you are riding out this Mercury retrograde...don't forget that as a treasured Member you have lots of different soundbath meditations to help you navigate any cosmic feels!

You can access these by just scrolling down to find them (or typing in soundbaths in the search engine).

Onwards to this Venus in Taurus transit which started yesterday on April 1st but is certainly no April Fool!

I include at the bottom of this post last year's Venus in Taurus Soulstrology post so you can read the basic do's and don'ts but as this is the second Venus in Taurus transit I am writing about I wanted to now go a bit further with this Soulstrology cosmic coaching (which is ultimately what all of these blogs are about!) from beginner level basics and do's and dont's to more elevated cosmic consciousness.

So, the Soulstrology theme for this particular Venus in Taurus transit is asking us to love what we do and do what we love.

Venus, as you all probably know by now, is the planet who rules love, creativity, harmony and abundance.

Taurus in the natural zodiac rules the second house - our personal income and finances, our possessions, our values and our self-esteem.

Soulstrology tells us that it is no coincidence that this particular Venus in Taurus transit is taking place during Mercury retrograde in Aries.

As you may know by now, Aries in the natural zodiac rules the first house of our identity, personal autonomy and our appearance -how we appear to others and how we present ourselves to others.

In many ways this Venus in Taurus transit combined with Mercury retrograde is asking us to go within and look carefully at our identity and appearance (Aries), what we value and what we do to make our personal income (Taurus), our self-esteem and how we feel about ourselves (and importantly how much we value ourselves, oh such a Taurus theme!) so that we can earn money (Taurus) in abundance (Venus) by being our true selves (Aries) and express our creative nature (Venus) even if that is not in an obviously/traditional creative manner.

It's an exciting transit but can be intense!

It requires us to dig deep about what our limiting self-beliefs may be and how these may be impacting our ability to express ourselves (creatively or otherwise) and be confident enough to present ourselves to others as our highest best selves and therefore to be seen by others as our highest best self.

When you look at the heart of Venus and Taurus they are about love (Venus) and values (Taurus) and when you think about it, in an ideal world, each of us would LOVE what we do and do what we LOVE and live abundantly as a result!

During this transit we are asked to reflect and then dive deep on the above themes to see how we can make this happen in our lives, as well as looking carefully at the Taurus ruled parts of each of our charts to see how these themes play out in the Taurus ruled parts of each of our lives (Soulstrology zodiac guide is below as part of last year's beginner level Venus in Taurus post. Read for both your sun and rising sign if you know it).

Also here are some key important dates for this Venus in Taurus transit for your diary.

April 7th: Venus (in Taurus) trine Saturn (in Capricorn) - powerful for bringing stability and practicality to love and creative projects

April 11th: Venus (in Taurus) trine Mars (in Capricorn) - powerful for love, creativity and financial matters.

April 12th: Venus (in Taurus) sextile Neptune (in Pisces) - dreamy, creative, spiritual aspect.

April 17th: Venus (in Taurus) opposite Jupiter (in Scorpio) - powerful aspect which can bring luck but pushes us out of our comfort zones.

April 17th: Venus (in Taurus) trine Pluto (in Capricorn) powerful, transformative aspect for love, creativity, socializing and abundance

Last year's post is below!

Have a good start to the week and I will be back soon with more!

Love,

Ambi x

Hello lovely ones and happy Wednesday!

Today, Wednesday 7th June 2017, Venus planet of love, peace, harmony, beauty, abundance and socializing moves into fixed earth sign Taurus where she will stay until July 6th.

After Venus's retrograde earlier this this year and a long time in Pisces and Aries we are all probably very ready for the planet of love to move into another part of the zodiac.

As many of you will probably know by now, Venus rules Taurus and Libra.

Soulstrology says it follows that Venus is very much 'at home' in Taurus meaning we should all feel the positive impact of this transit in the Taurus ruled part of our lives.

Look at where you have Taurus on the cusp of your natal chart as well as any planets you have in Taurus as this will give you an idea of the areas of life which will be infused with Venusian energies.

As always, Soulstrology reminds us that there is shadow and light and duality to each planet and sign.

Here are the Soulstrology do's and don'ts for this Venus in Taurus transit.

DO

  • Indulge the five senses. Venus in Taurus is all about pleasure, from the simple to the more exquisite sensual pleasures.
  • Be grounded and peaceful and infuse these energies into your life. Venus in Taurus lends to natural contentment. Make the most of the next month and being more easily content
  • Consider commitment. This transit encourages us to be more committed in our love affairs. If you're single, commit to having a better relationship with yourself!
  • Get your finances in order. Venus in Taurus values stability. Start a savings plan, pay off debt, etc
  • Shop for substance with consciousness. Venus in Taurus doesn't collect tat. Look for quality, practical items which will last (they can also be aesthetically pleasing! the two themes aren't mutually exclusive!)
  • Socialize through food. The way to (many a) heart is through the belly. Cook for your loved ones, entertain at home or try a new restaurant

DON'T

  • Overindulge. The danger of satiating the five senses is to overdo it. Gluttony is a shadow of Venus in Taurus so be mindful of this
  • Be lazy. The shadow of natural contentment and harmony is to just kick back and well, be a bit lazy. Watch for the balance between being peaceful and grounded and downright lazy!
  • Overspend. This transit helps us see the beauty in tangible goods. This can result in wanting to purchase everything that catches our eye. Try and be grounded in your purchases. None of us need everything we want!
  • Be a superficial social butterfly. Sometimes when we are overly sociable we forget about substance in our connections and our conversations. Be soulfully sociable.
  • Be possessive. This transit encourages commitment but there is a difference between commitment and clinging. Don't treat your partner like a possession.
  • Hold onto things past their sell by date. Somethings have an expiration date and serve a purpose or season of our life. Learn to let go of the people, possessions and places that fall into this category.

Taurus and Taurus risings this next month is your time to enjoy what Soulstrology likes to call the Venus filter! It gives a great glow!

Whatever your sign, you will be enjoying this transit somewhere in your chart and therefore life.

Below is the Soulstrology guide for this transit for each sign indicating which areas of life will be experiencing this transit and the Venus filter.

Read for your sun and rising sign and don't forget to check which planets you have in Taurus.

Try and infuse these life areas with the light of Venus, think love, harmony, abundance!

Full Moon in Libra March 31st 2018: Mind over matter.

Ambi Sitham

becomewhatyoubelieve.jpg

Hello lovely ones and happy nearly Full Moon!

What an intense few days in the cosmos it has been....all bubbling up to tomorrow's Full Moon which takes place at 5.37am PT on Saturday 31st March 2018 (adjust for your timezone).

This Full Moon falls at 10 degrees of Libra so check where this falls in your natal chart (you can easily use a free online chart calculator as mine is still not fixed, grr!) and also importantly what planets you may have around 10 degrees of Libra (use a range from 7-13 degrees because any planets of this range in Libra will be impacted by this Full Moon).

Also, use the Soulstrology zodiac guide below to see how what areas of life this Full Moon is highlighting in both your solar charts (based on your sun sign) and your natal chart (based on your exact time of birth and therefore your rising sign).

It is these areas of life that this Soulstrology theme of mind over matter applies to at this Full Moon and where you need to be focusing on to see what needs healing, releasing and bringing to completion.

As I think you all probably know by now, in the natural zodiac, Libra is the sign governing all our interpersonal relationships of all kinds - platonic, professional and romantic.

Soulstrology says that by default, Libra also therefore governs our relationship with ourselves and that at this Full Moon what we need to be focusing on is the relationship we have with ourselves, how this impacts actual relationships in the specific areas of life that Libra rules in our charts, and indeed the relationships we have with the themes of life ruled by Libra in our unique charts.

To make this clearer, I will use myself as an example, so you can see how this Soulstrology theme works in practice.

Libra in my solar chart (based on my sun sign of Sagittarius) rules my eleventh house of friendships, groups I belong to, associations I support - essentially my soul tribe, as well as my most cherished hopes, wishes and dreams for the future.

Libra in my natal chart (based on my rising sign of Virgo) rules my second house of my personal finances and belongings, so my income, my possessions as well as my values (who and what I value in life) and my self-esteem.

Therefore for me, this Full Moon is asking me to review all the relationships I have in those areas of life, the relationship I have with myself with regards to those areas of life, the relationship I have with some of those life areas (e.g. friendships, income, personal finances, values, self-esteem and my goals for the future).

Hopefully this helps you see how to apply the Soulstrology theme to your own chart and the life areas being illuminated for you at this Full Moon.

Turning now to the specifics of this Full Moon and why Soulstrology says this Full Moon theme is 'mind over matter'.

Mercury (in retrograde motion) opposes this Full Moon.

An opposition is a tense aspect which brings matters bubbling to a head.

At a Full Moon there is always an opposition between the Sun and Moon, hence why Full Moons tend to be intense and bring things up to the surface.

With Mercury sat by the Sun in Aries opposing this Full Moon our minds will be really drawn to the Libra ruled parts of our lives and the relationship themes mentioned above.

Saturn sits alongside Mars and squares this Full Moon.

This is another tense aspect, because Saturn as we know, is the zodiac taskmaster who sees things in black and white and who gives us a reality check that can sometimes be really harsh (even if based on truth!).

Saturn's square to the Moon can make us feel a sense of heaviness, sadness, anxiety or even depression about certain areas of life.

Mars making an almost square to the Moon can also stir up our emotions and make us feel angry, or argumentative.

And remember, that all these aspects are affecting others too, so even if we are fine and dandy, it may be that others are being impacted in a way which then has a knock on effect upon us (because after all this Full Moon's over arching theme is relationships).

Soulstrology tells us that all the celestial aspects here firmly place the focus on our minds.

Our minds are either are greatest foes or our greatest allies (you may have heard me say this before as it was taught to me by a mentor of sorts many years ago).

At this Full Moon, when there is so much focus on our minds, we are each being asked to perform the sometimes seemingly Herculean task of having mind over matter.

Soulstrology reminds us that there is always a duality to any celestial aspect, and therefore that the tense aspects of this Full Moon can help us to overcome certain matters in our mind, so that we can impact how those matters play out in the physical realm.

We can use Saturn's energy to see things for what they are and rather than being depressed about the state of affairs, to see what we need to do to make things as we wish them to be.

We can use the fiery force of Mars to give us courage and leadership, to help us to manifest what we need to, both in our minds and on the physical plane.

Remember courage isn't being afraid, or not having doubt, courage is taking action in spite of that fear or doubt.

We can use Mercury's retrograde and his intense opposition to force us to think about how we think and to RE-think how we think about things, because how we think about things, affects our feelings and how we feel affects our vibration and inspires our actions, which in turn creates our reality.

Henry Ford famously said, "Whether you think you can, or whether you think you can't, you are right".

THIS is the power of our minds and we can see this in real life examples all around us of people who overcome seemingly insurmountable odds to achieve the impossible, to create a miracle.

We don't become or have what we want, we become what we believe.

And we believe what we think.

So we had better make sure we think in a way which serves us...

As always, this Full Moon will be impacting each of us differently, according to where each of us are on our unique paths.

There is no wrong or right here. It's just where we are each at.

For some of us this Full Moon may bring matters to celebratory completion, even if not on the physical plane, perhaps in our minds and our consciousness, which of course will result in a big shift on the physical plane.

For others this Full Moon may be a time when matters come bubbling up in the lunar spotlight, whether issues on the physical plane, or in our psyches.

I always recommend making a burn and release list using the wording,

"I release all of the below, because it does not serve me or my highest good, by releasing the below, I make space for new positive energy to come in and fulfill my heart's desires, for my highest good and the greater good."

For this Full Moon I also recommend asking yourselves the questions below and perhaps answering them and allowing those answers to guide your burn and release list.

If you are celebrating victories and achievements in your life then I still recommend writing a list thanking the cosmos for all you have achieved (list them) and asking for guidance for the next stage of manifesting in your life.

I like to burn this list too as a symbolic ritual to make space for the new.

Soulstrology Libra Full Moon cosmic coaching

  1. What relationships need healing or releasing in my life (generally but focus specifically on the relationships in the Libra ruled parts of each of our charts).
  2. What do I need to heal with my relationship with myself so I can manifest more in the Libra ruled areas of life in my chart?
  3. What is my relationship with my mind, how I think, what I think, and my beliefs about myself and life. How can I heal this so I have a better relationship with my mind so I can feel better and live better?
  4. What victories (even if tiny!) can I celebrate at this time with regards to the Libra ruled areas of life in my chart?
  5. What can I celebrate (dig deep, an attitude of gratitude will always give you more to be grateful for!) in terms of my relationships (including the relationship with myself)

Answer these questions today/tonight and do your burn and release ritual, or your burn and thank you ritual and take some quiet time to yourself, either to meditate (I include the Full Moon Soulstrology Soundbath below which was ironically recorded for the Full Moon in Aries, so we are full circle, and also reminds me of how many more I want to and will record for you all!) or take a salt bath, do some gentle yoga or take a walk in nature, all to help ground you during this powerful Full Moon.

Full Moon Mantras

I embrace the relationship with myself as the most important relationship of all

I trust that the better a relationship I have with my mind and thoughts, the better a relationship I will have with myself, others, and life

I relish the opportunity to re-think how I think and to think in a way which not only makes me feel good but also serves me and my life

I believe in miracles and know that the miracle begins with me in my mind before it manifests physically

I know that if I believe it to be true, it can and will be true. And so it is

I am wishing you all a healing, mindful, miracle making Full Moon.

May each of us have a better relationship with our minds and ourselves leading to the manifestation of magic and miracles in our lives and for our beloved world.

And so it is.

Love,

Ambi x

Hello lovely ones and happy Tuesday!

I hope this Mercury retrograde is treating you all well?

I love hearing from you all and connecting to this community so please reach out, say hello or write a note in the comments section below and I will always write back!

I am finding this retrograde is forcing me to slow down, to REschedule, to not over extend myself and REst.

I have also found since putting out episode three of the podcast on boundaries that my own boundaries and ability to lovingly say NO has been sorely tested.

It's been a fantastic opportunity for me to practice what I teach and to REmind myself (a la retrograde) that I am what I do, not what I say.

Onwards to this Libra Full Moon which takes place this Saturday in the very early hours of the morning PT.

This is the second Full Moon of the month as March started and now ends with a bang and a Full Moon.

That also makes this Full Moon what is known as a blue moon (rare, hence the expression once in a blue moon).

As many of you will know from reading the Soulstrology blogs on here, the Mercury retrograde is in Aries and at this Full Moon, Mercury, retrograde in Aries, opposes this Full Moon in Libra.

Over the next few days, as the Moon grows to fullness, you may feel tensions brewing between the Aries and Libra axis in your unique chart (use the Mercury retrograde blog to REmind yourself of the life areas which are under REview in this particular Mercury retrograde in your chart).

Similarly, as we approach this Full Moon, you will feel the lunar spotlight intensely illuminating the life areas ruled by Libra in your unique chart (see Soulstrology zodiac guide below!).

Remember that knowledge is power.

Armed with the knowledge of the life areas being illuminated by this Full Moon you can work mindfully with the energies of the next few days by using this REtrograde to REflect on these life areas.

What needs healing, releasing, or completing?

What can be brought to fruition or celebratory completion?

What is the balance (or imbalance) between the areas of life ruled by Aries and Libra in your unique chart?

How can you balance the scales between these two life areas and also improve all of your relationships which pertain to these unique life areas?

Food for thought. Lots to REflect on. Homework to be done.

I will be doing this homework too! And then writing your Full Moon blog which I hope to get up late Thursday or early Friday at the latest :)

Wishing you a peaceful couple of days and I will be back soon with more :)

Love,

Ambi x

Mercury Retrograde in Aries March/April 2018: Changing ourselves, changing our lives

Ambi Sitham

CHANGEYOURSELF.jpg

Hello lovely ones and happy Wednesday!

I feel like I am writing to you all lots this week but hey ho, there is a lot happening in the cosmos this week and I do love writing these blogs for you all!

As you will know by now from my previous Mercury retrograde blog on March 13th, the first Mercury retrograde of 2018 officially starts tomorrow on March 22nd (although technically, if you are on PT, it starts tonight).

Now Soulstrology tells us that there is a specific theme for each Mercury retrograde and the theme of this Mercury backwards dance in Aries, is all about the essence of US.

Who we are now, who we want to be, and how we can change ourselves so we can experience the life changes that we desire.

Aries in the natural zodiac rules the first house of our identity, our appearance, our autonomy, how others view us and also how we pursue our ambitions and how we handle conflict.

Now in each of our unique charts Aries rules a different life area (check the Soulstrology zodiac guide for this Mercury retrograde below and read for both your sun and rising sign).

So for the purposes of this Mercury retrograde each of us needs to think about the natural zodiac themes ruled by Aries (as above) as well as the life areas ruled by Aries in our unique charts.

We need to think about these life areas and think all things RE - review, reconcile, reconsider, reset, recharge,  redo, repair, etc etc....

But most important of all we need to ask ourselves how we conduct the RE process to change ourselves, so that we can become who we are supposed to be and receive what we are due.

This Mercury retrograde is special because it coincides (but isn't really a cosmic coincidence, but more synchronicity) with the end of the Uranus in Aries transit which started in March 2011 and ends in April (apart from a small retrograde back into Aries later this year).

As you all probably know by now, Uranus is a change agent. He tips our world upside down so that we can change and become who we are supposed to be, experience liberation and step into the future.

However he doesn't always do this nicely! He often pulls out the rug from underneath us so that we are forced to change.

He usually does this when we are trying to hold on too hard to the old version of ourselves...and we can feel like we are being punished, when in fact, we are being pushed....

I laugh when I look back at the last seven years of this Uranus in Aries transit as when it started it coincided (no cosmic coincidence!) with me deciding to take a three month sabbatical from my very established life and career in London, to come to Los Angeles for the summer.

That resulted in me deciding to move, and was the beginning of the end of my legal career and my relationship with the media and entertainment industry.

Uranus has indeed liberated me and pushed me into the future that was always my destiny but he undoubtedly turned my world upside down in the process!

Now at the end of his transit I am embracing the final stages of change, as my work and how I help people is shifting from less one to one work and more sharing in a way that can help several people all at once (hence this Membership, the podcast and me writing a book!)

I share some of my journey because it may help you think about your own process, and what this particular Mercury retrograde means for you.

As always, I recommend listening to the Mercury retrograde soundbath (which for ease, I have inserted below) and I also recommend that at the outset of this retrograde you ask yourselves the following questions.

1) What is it that I want to shift in terms of my identity, how others see me, or my ambitions? e.g. do I want a promotion? do I want to be self-employed? do I want to be in a relationship? do I want my relationship to shift to a different status? do I want to be single? do I want to be a parent? do I want to have a different career? etc etc

2) Where am I right now in terms of my identity, how others see me or my ambition (your answers/ambition in relation to the questions above)?

3) What do I need to change in relation to MYSELF so that I can transform and experience the shift in identity, appearance or personal goals that I desire?

4) What do I want in terms of the Aries ruled areas of my life in my unique chart?

5) Where am I right now in terms of these goals in the Aries ruled areas of my life in my unique chart?

6) What do I need to change in relation to MYSELF so that I can transform and experience the shifts I desire in the Aries ruled areas of my life?

Take your time to do this homework.

Mercury rewards us when we do things RE and answering these questions and conducting this review will help you navigate this retrograde and also help you focus your energies on something constructive.

I will be writing another blog for you all next week with some other Soulstrology coaching questions and more tips and key dates to watch out for during this retrograde.

Until then, happy start to this retrograde!

May it be mindful and not murky....!

Love,

Ambi x

Spring Equinox March 20 2018: Bloom where you are planted...

Ambi Sitham

bloom.jpg

Hello lovely ones and happy Tuesday and Spring Equinox!

Today is the first official day of Spring (for those of us in the Northern hemisphere) as we celebrate the Spring Equinox and the last day of Pisces season.

The Spring Equinox, just like the Autumn Equinox, is a day of equal light and darkness.

From hereon in we celebrate longer days and more light, peaking with the Summer Solstice which will be the longest day of the year with the most sunlight.

Spring is associated with sweet new beginnings and fresh starts and is also a time of rebirths.

Just as we see flowers blooming, so too we can can feel like we are blossoming in some way.

However, just a couple of days after this particular Spring Equinox, Mercury turns retrograde for the first time in 2018.

In that sense it may be that we experience some Mercury mayhem and feel a sense of being stuck or foggy.

However that does not mean that we shouldn't be embracing this new season of Spring and celebrating the Spring Equinox as heralding a fresh start in our lives.

Soulstrology tells us that the theme of this particular Spring Equinox is to bloom where we are planted.

That means to embrace a fresh start and allow ourselves to bloom wherever we currently find ourselves in our lives.

Trust that at times our blossoming is quiet and less visible.

And sometimes our fresh starts are created internally rather than externally (following the theme of the Pisces New Moon).

Each of us will be at different stages of life and our soul's unique journey, but wherever we are, is exactly where we are meant to be, and our job is to be there and to blossom where we are planted.

The forthcoming Mercury retrograde will assist us in blossoming in the exact phase of life that each of us are in and we can each harness this retrograde to our advantage, so log in on Thursday to read more!

For now here are some tips and rituals I wanted to share with you for welcoming in the new season of Spring.

1) Spring clean! Clean and declutter your home, car, handbags, offices, you name it, get it clean and clutter free. Make space to receive!

2) Vision board. Create a vision board for the goals you wish to see come to fruition by the Autumn Equinox.

3) Water ritual. Enjoy a salt bath, or if you don't have a bath, use shower salts, either way use the ritual of bathing or showering to visualize the last day of Pisces season washing you clean and clear, making you energetically ready to receive the fresh new energies of Spring.

4) Buy a plant (I love orchids!) and think of it as a physical reminder of your process of blooming. As you tend to it. let it serve as a reminder to also tend to yourself.

5) Embrace nature. Get outside and notice how nature is changing, how nothing stays the same, and how every bare tree will soon be blooming once again. Being in nature and appreciating her cycles will help you appreciate the cycles of life and the unique chapter you are in.

I am wishing you all a wonderful first day of Spring.

May we all bloom where we are planted!

Love,

Ambi x

Mars in Capricorn March 18 - May 16th 2018: Loving work and working at love

Ambi Sitham

Freud said that love and work are the cornerstones of our humanness...

Freud said that love and work are the cornerstones of our humanness...

Happy Sunday lovely ones!

I hope the New Moon treated you all well and you remembered to make a manifesting list focusing more on the internal, than the external...

We have a busy week coming up in the cosmos with the Spring Equinox (marking the beginning of Aries season) and the first Mercury retrograde of 2018.

I will be writing more about these aspect later this week, but for now, let's focus on the Mars in Capricorn transit which begins today and will continue until mid-May.

Mars is said to be exalted in Capricorn, making this an extremely powerful transit.

This is made EVEN MORE powerful by the combination of Pluto and Saturn both in Capricorn.

Some serious heavyweight cosmic action going on in the Capricorn ruled parts of our charts!

And this six week Mars in Capricorn transit can set us up for the remainder of the Saturn in Capricorn transit (Mars takes around two years to go through the entire zodiac).

This placement is exalted because it takes the best of Mars (ambition, drive, energy, autonomy) and fuses it with the best of Capricorn (discipline, structure, maturity) resulting in potent manifesting energies (yes, in spite of Mercury's retrograde!)

If you have this placement in your natal chart you will be experiencing your Mars return which (as I've mentioned before) is a super potent cosmic window as you sow the seeds for success to flower over the next two years of life.

If that is your natal placement you should find this particular Mars post useful for understanding yourself a bit better and how you pursue ambition.

See my earlier Ask Ambi Q+A (Mars Return you can search for it or scroll down) to understand what the return of Mars means for you.

As well as those with their natal Mars in Capricorn, Capricorn and Capricorn risings will also find this transit particularly powerful as Mars makes a connection to their sun sign (essence of who you are) and rising sign (identity, how others perceive you).

But regardless of where your natal Mars is placed, this transit offers each of us a powerful energy to work with in the Capricorn ruled parts of each of our charts which as we know are experiencing huge changes with heavyweights Pluto and Saturn hanging out there...

As always, there is a duality to this transit, with both shadow and light, magic and murkiness, so below are the Soulstrology do's and don'ts for this Mars in Capricorn transit to help you to make the most of it and bathe in the light of this celestial configuration.

Also make sure to read the Soulstrology zodiac guide at the bottom of this post so that you can see where this transit is taking place for your zodiac sign.

Read for your sun and rising sign and check any planets you have in Capricorn as they will be getting a nice boost from Mars!

DO'S

  • Be pragmatic about your ambitions  Unlike the overenthusiastic (if I could insert a hand waving emoji here, I would!) energy of Mars in Sagittarius, this transit asks us to get very realistic about our dreams. Think, less is more...
  • Plan The influence of Saturn in this transit asks us to pay attention to the smaller details. What are the small goals we need to achieve in order to manifest our dreams? And what is the timeline? Take the time to come up with a realistic plan during this transit.
  • Work hard This transit encourages and rewards consistent hard work. Lay low, plot quietly, work hard and manifest fruitfully in time to come!
  • Be low key Unlike other Mars transits, this Mars in Capricorn transit isn't about screaming our ambitions from the rooftops but rather is about knowing what we want and going after it with quiet determination.

DON'TS

  •  Be too hard on yourself, or others This placement can lead to taking life a little too seriously and as a result being a bit hard on yourself if you don't perform up to standards, or in some cases, being hard on others. Watch out for this tendency.
  • Control your emotions Mars as we know, governs how we argue/fight/deal with conflict and in earthy Capricorn we may feel like we need to keep control of our emotions and bottle them up. This is unhealthy and can lead to passive aggressive behavior at best or at worst a mini explosion when things bottle up too much. Check in with yourself emotionally and don't try and micromanage how you're feeling.
  • Forget to have fun With all the focus on ambition, remember that in between manifesting goals, is a thing called life, and it needs to be lived!
  • Be too calculating Be mindful of the tendency of this placement which can make us assess the value of everything (and everyone!) based on material, tangible value. Make sure you bring your heart in to meet your head and be soulful in interactions with others.

New Moon in Pisces March 2018: Our wounds contain gifts, but we must heal in order to receive them

Ambi Sitham

 Win inside, then win outside...

Win inside, then win outside...

Hello lovely ones and happy nearly New Moon!

This New Moon takes place tomorrow, Saturday 17th March 2018, at 6.11am PT (adjust for your timezone) and will be at almost 27 degrees of Pisces.

This Pisces season has been tough for many (yours truly included) and I have to say that this New Moon has a full Moony feel to it.

This is because of various celestial aspects which have been building up to this New Moon and come to a head at this lunar event.

The Sun has been moving through the Pisces ruled part of the zodiac and at this New Moon he joins Chiron who sits at 28 degrees of Pisces and whose energies are therefore closely blended with this New Moon.

Chiron as many of you will recall, is known as the wounded healer.

In mythology he was a centaur (half human, half horse!) and was rejected by his mother due to how he looked (harsh mama there!) and then was the victim of an accident where he was shot with an arrow causing a wound which would never fully heal.

Yet Chiron decided to work with what life had thrown at him and delved into his pain, understanding it, owning it and in doing so became a leader and teacher to those who were also wounded.

His curse became his gift and his legacy.

Where Chiron is placed in our natal charts, both in terms of planet, house and the aspects made by Chiron, will explain to us where we are likely to experience wounds in this lifetime, but also, where we have great potential and wisdom for overcoming and becoming victors, rather than victims.

Soulstrology says that through transformation of any wounds in our lives, we not only obtain wisdom, but we also create a certain energy which becomes the fuel for our soulful success!

It is no cosmic coincidence that the astrological glyph for Chiron is a key as he teaches us that our wounds hold within them the keys to our success and happiness.

We just need to find, and use that key...

But back to this New Moon and the specific role of Chiron at this time.

Since 2010, Chiron has been in Pisces and in each of our charts (based on both our sun and rising sign, so read for both when you look at the Soulstrology zodiac guide at the bottom of this blog) has been bringing up wounds in the areas of life under Chiron's spotlight.

Pisces in the natural zodiac rules the twelfth house, which is often referred to as the house of undoing, and rules everything from dreams and spirituality to secrets, what is submerged, isolation and the subconscious mind.

So a big part of this Chiron in Pisces transit has been about healing what is hidden.

To this end Chiron has been bringing to the surface the wounds of our subconscious minds, the wounds we keep hidden from others, what we may even keep hidden from ourselves and avoid looking at, our dirty secrets, the ways in which we self-sabotage, psychological wounds and so on.

It's been INTENSE.

The kind of deep, soul cleansing, healing which brings up every ugly demon to be exorcised (or is that just me?!)

Chiron is now in his final stages of this transit, as he gets ready to depart the Pisces ruled part of the zodiac mid next month and move into Aries, returning to Pisces for a small retrograde motion in the Fall.

But as always, Soulstrology tells us that the cosmos has a (sometimes sick!) sense of humor, and so before Chiron is done with us (in one area of life, anyway) he decides to shine brightly alongside this New Moon, just to rub a little bit of extra salt in those wounds to check if we have really healed them.

Fun? No.

But necessary? Yes. Absofuckinglutely.

Because here is the thing and the reason why I chose the great quote above for this blog (which I found on Pinterest).

We cannot manifest anything in our lives without first creating it spiritually, within our consciousness.

We cannot receive our cosmic dues and the gifts which are meant for us, or step into our destinies when we have gaping holes and wounds within our psyches.

We cannot force something to happen on the physical plane if we are unprepared to simultaneously create the space for it energetically and do the work spiritually.

It simply will not happen. We will meet brick wall after brick wall. Karmic lesson, after karmic lesson.

So given this and given the role of Chiron at this time, what do we need to do for the purposes of this New Moon and the next lunar cycle?

We need to be honest about where we are facing wounds in our physical lives.

Where are we facing blocks or barriers, or even brick walls.

Where we experience conflict, disharmony or chaos.

Where we experience a recurring theme, which isn't a good one!

And then we need to take a long, hard deep look within and be prepared to dive deep to transform the wound internally, to create a shift energetically and in our consciousness, and to allow the manifestation of our desires and our cosmic dues, to take place.

Too often we try so hard, hustle to manifest, push and force, all whilst refusing to have the humility to understand the lessons the universe is trying to teach us (or is that just me?!) to help us to heal, to be whole, so we can RECEIVE.

At this New Moon, think less about your to do list and the physical manifestations and more about your soul, more about your spiritual to do list and making the space to receive rather than to actively manifest.

I know it seems illogical to push less on the physical plane, but at this time, that is what is asked of us.

To instead channel that energy we usually put towards doing and divert it into being and into allowing.

Take advantage of the New Moon Soulstrology Soundbath meditation below to allow your soul to tell you what needs healing and clearing, what needs to happen within, so things will shift externally.

Depending on where you are in your unique spiritual journey and where your soul is at, you may well find the New Moon and the next lunar cycle miraculous as the aspects made to Uranus and Mars at this New Moon are very much about liberation, sudden change and manifesting.

But wherever you are in your journey, just know that the key to your success is within.

It always has been, it always will be.

It all begins and ends with you.

New Moon Mantras

I know that the key to success lies within and that success starts and ends with me, and me alone

I know that being, is as important, as becoming

I trust that any darkness in my life has a duality meaning it also contains gifts

I focus on creating space for the miracles I desire, not worrying about the how, or when, but focusing on being ready and open

I embrace healing as a manifesting tool over this next lunar cycle and beyond

I am wishing you all a healing, transformative and miracle making New Moon.

Mercury retrograde in Aries: March 22nd 2018 - April 15 2018 and a Mercury retrograde Soulstrology Soundbath

Ambi Sitham

Yep, it's nearly that time again...

Yep, it's nearly that time again...

Hello lovely ones and happy Tuesday!

I hope Pisces season is treating you all well....

I wanted to give you the heads up on the forthcoming Mercury retrograde which officially starts on March 22nd, just two days after the Spring Equinox and the Sun moving into Aries.

The shadow period has already started on March 9th (can you feel it?!) and although the retrograde officially ends on April 15th, the post retrograde shadow continues until May 3rd.

Soulstrology firmly tells us this isn't a time of doom or gloom, but rather a time when we can work with the cosmic energies to review and reset matters of life ruled by Aries in our unique charts.

This Mercury retrograde is occurring specifically between 4 and 16 degrees of Aries so check carefully in your charts to see what angles and planets you have at these degrees (and therefore what life areas are in the spotlight) as they will be triggered by this retrograde.

As always we must work with the natural zodiac energies of the planet in retrograde and in the natural zodiac Aries rules the first house of identity, our appearance, how others view us, our personal autonomy, how we assert ourselves, our leadership qualities and how we pursue our goals and ambitions (how we manifest).

There will be more Soulstrology coaching blogs on this Mercury retrograde but in the meantime take a note of what is happening at this time as often the theme of the retrograde occurs during the shadow period...

AND use this Mercury retrograde Soulstrology Soundbath to meditate and help clear your mind so you can work mindfully with this particular retrograde.

More soon, happy Tuesday for now!

Love,

Ambi x

Jupiter Retrograde March 8 - July 10 2018: Transformation and miracles....

Ambi Sitham

transformationtime.jpg

Hello lovely ones and I hope this finds you all well!

This week Jupiter, gift giver and cosmic benefic, turns retrograde on Thursday March 8th at 23 degrees of Scorpio and he will continue his backwards dance until July 10th when he will station direct at 13 degrees of Scorpio.

Look carefully in your chart to see where you have 13-23 degrees of Scorpio, including any planets between those degrees of Scorpio (or thereabouts so widen it to 10-26 degrees) as the life areas represented by these houses and planets will be impacted by this retrograde (you can use the Soulstrology zodiac guide below to check which life areas Scorpio rules in your chart).

Also, look back to events which occurred around mid December, as the pre-retrograde shadow started on December 12th.

Even though the retrograde is officially over on July 10th it will take until October 6th for the post retrograde shadow to be over and for Jupiter to get back to 23 degrees of Scorpio (where his retrograde started) and for him to be in juicy flow of the final stages of his Scorpio transit.

Please do not be fearful about this retrograde. There is NOTHING to fear and EVERYTHING to gain.

It is not like Mercury's retrograde which can be oh so chaotic...but more on him in another post!

I was born with Jupiter retrograde in my natal chart and it certainly is not an unlucky placement although it does require you to go deep within and create internal transformation and adopt the light of Jupiter in order to manifest miracles on the external plane.

This particular Jupiter retrograde is asking each of us to look within and create deep internal transformation so that we can manifest more effortlessly on the physical plane and receive the blessings which are our cosmic dues.

Jupiter is all about spirituality, justice, compassion, expansion, optimism and miracles.

Scorpio's ruler Pluto is all about diving deep, beneath the surface, to dig up what is hidden or unseen in the darkness, to bring it to the light and to transform it.

To allow what needs to decay to die, to give truth and authenticity its rightful place and to transform ourselves and the world.

Think rebirths and soulful power.

During this Jupiter retrograde the cosmic benefic will be making beautiful aspects to Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio, assisting us in the process of internal transformation and manifesting miracles.

I will be recording a Members only Soulstrology Soundbath specifically for this Jupiter retrograde which will hopefully help you navigate this retrograde better.

Stay tuned as I hope to get it to you all in the next few weeks...

For now, look at the areas of life which Scorpio rules in your unique chart as well as the areas of life which Scorpio rules in the natural zodiac (joint finances -debts, loans, mortgages, investments, sex, intimacy, merging and transformation).

Think carefully about these areas of life and how they are faring.

What do you wish to manifest in them?

Where do you feel stuck or stilted?

What is decaying which needs to die?

And most importantly, how can you transform internally so you can make the energetic shift to expand and manifest externally, on the physical plane?

More soon...

Love,

Ambi x

Venus in Aries March 7th - March 31st 2018: Fiery love...burn baby, burn.

Ambi Sitham

The cosmic lovers getting it on...

The cosmic lovers getting it on...

Hello lovely ones and happy Wednesday!

Today Venus, planet of love moves into fiery Aries who is ruled by Mars.

She will stay here until the end of the month and make her presence known in the Aries ruled part of each of our charts.

Venus in Aries is a funny placement as Venus is the goddess of love and peace and Mars, the ruler of Aries, is the god of War.

This means that as well as the usual Soulstrology Do's and Don'ts we also need to all think about the balancing of the female (Venus) and male (Mars) energies within ourselves and our lives.

In particular pay attention to the fine line and balance between allowing things to happen and being in receiving mode (Venus) and manifesting, pushing mode (Mars).

Use Soulstrology zodiac guide below to see where Venus will be gracing your chart for the next few weeks.

Also, look at your natal chart to see which houses Aries as well as any planets you have in Aries as this will give you an idea of the areas of life which will be infused with Venusian energies.

As always with Venus transits, it's been over 18 months since Venus last visited this part of your chart and will be the same amount of time before she returns so as ever we want to make the most of the transit to the Aries ruled parts of each of our charts.

Think about infusing these areas of life with love, beauty, harmony, creativity and abundance!

Soulstrology reminds us that there is shadow and light and duality to each planet and sign.

Here are the Soulstrology do's and don'ts for this Venus in Aries transit.

DO'S

  • Go after your heart's desire Venus in Aries is a direct and charged energy. Whether you are pursuing a new love interest, want to make the first move or just want to heat up your current relationship, make sure to be bold in seeking what your heart desires during this time, particularly in romantic relationships.
  • Get active, in and out of the bedroom! Venus in Aries is essentially a meeting of the two cosmic lovers as Mars is the ruler of Aries and the lover of Venus. This placement encourages a more raw energy than the softer romantic energy of Venus in Pisces. Use this time to reignite the spark in your love life, both in and out of the bedroom (think fun date nights/activities)
  • Be adventurous This placement encourages us to be adventurous and take the initiative in all areas of life. As Venus rules creativity one must take advantage of the courageous energy of this transit to be more adventurous with any creative endeavors. Perhaps this means putting your project out there, or perhaps it means taking a workshop and opening yourself up to new adventures. Whatever it is, think adventure!
  • Be a loving yet strong leader This placement encourages each of us to connect to our inner leader (that Mars/Aries energy) and to seek to express this side of ourselves, yet with a healthy dose of that peaceful serene Venusian goddess energy. Whether it is at work, at home or out in the world, think of how you can display leadership skills led by love.

DON'TS

  • Be ME, ME, ME A shadow of this placement is narcissism and this toxicity can bleed into all of our relationships where we can be a little too self-involved. Watch out for this and remember that Venus is the ruler of Libra. Think about balancing the scales of Libra between your wants and needs and others.
  • Let the flame burn out too soon This placement loves the thrill of the chase and a conquest but can then get bored. Whether you are in a long term relationship or single, be mindful that you aren't just interested in conquering but also interested in the ongoing process of connecting.
  • Be overly aggressive Whether in romantic pursuits or other endeavors this placement can bring out too much fiery energy which can burn yourself and/or others. Watch out for when that Mars/Aries gets over excited/overly energized and keep it in check!
  • Spend without thinking This placement is all about excitement and pleasure and can make us impulsive. Be mindful around the tendancy to splurge and try and rein it in a little!

Aries/Aries risings a reminder that it's your time to enjoy what Soulstrology calls the Venus filter, with the cosmic goddess gracing your sun sign/rising sign, giving you that irresistible glow!

Enjoy it!

Whatever your sign, you will be enjoying this transit somewhere in your chart, and therefore life.

Below is the Soulstrology guide for this transit for each sign indicating which areas of life will be experiencing this transit and the Venus filter.

Read for your sun and rising sign and don't forget to check which planets you have in Aries as these will be getting a nice boost from Venus too.

Full Moon in Virgo March 1st 2018: Trusting in the bigger picture

Ambi Sitham

 All the LOLS!

All the LOLS!

Hello lovely ones and happy nearly Full Moon in Virgo!

This Full Moon takes place at 4.51pm PT on Thursday March 1st 2018 (adjust for your timezone) and falls at 11 degrees of Virgo.

You can check online as to exactly where this Full Moon falls in your chart but as a general guide I set out at the bottom of this post a Soulstrology Zodiac guide to the life areas ruled by Virgo for each sign.

Remember to read for both your sun and rising sign to see which life areas are being illuminated by this Full Moon.

Onwards to the Soulstrology theme of trusting in the bigger picture for this Full Moon which ties in nicely with the general Soulstrology theme for March (surrendering and trusting in the unknown and change).

As always at a Full Moon there is a Sun/Moon opposition.

Here we have the Sun in watery, dreamy, Pisces opposing the Moon in orderly, earthy Virgo.

Pisces is ruled by Neptune who is the god of the ocean.

The energies of Neptune and Pisces are dreamy, creative, emotional, spiritual but also formless and vast, just like the ocean, with no boundaries.

Pisces is visionary and sees the bigger picture which allows them to be channels of great creativity.

I know SO many amazingly creative Pisceans/people with lots of Pisces in their charts who I view as creative geniuses who channel something so much bigger than them.

Pisces are dreamy and spiritual and comfortable with being at sea with their goal/land in sight in the far distance.

They dive and swim with the currents keeping their eyes on the prize.

Virgo is ruled by Mercury and is a sign of the thinker, and more often than not the worrier (hashtag Virgo rising here!)

They worry about the how and the when, versus Pisces who focuses on the what and the why.

Virgo gets caught up in the little details and has an amazing ability to analyze, dissect and organize.

They love order and take great comfort in sorting out the nitty gritty details.

However for all the light that there is in their ordered, service oriented, duty based approach, like every sign, Virgo has its shadow.

From nitpicking and criticizing (both themselves and others!) to being hypochondriac worry warts and obsessive compulsive control freaks.

If you are a Virgo/Virgo rising please don't be offended.

Every sign has its shadow and I will discuss the shadow of each sign, each month!

This is the worst of Virgo shadow and perhaps you have overcome this or don't slip into this shadow side.

However I will confess, as a Virgo rising, I see all of this shadow in myself and have to work on it ongoing!

Sometimes the shadow of Virgo (which can apply to each of us regardless of our sign) can result in us obsessing over the little details, and rather like the quote that accompanies this blog, losing sight of the wood for the trees.

We lose sight of the bigger picture and can try to control things unnecessarily which can lead to mental anguish (torture even!) and can even end up spectacularly backfiring!

This all stems from a lack of trust and thinking that we are the ones who need to micro manage every miracle in our lives.

But we don't. Really and truly we don't.

Yes, we may need to take action with conscious intent and be practical and responsible.

But we do not need to micro manage every detail to the extent that we obsess and flounder over minor details or irritations forgetting the bigger, beautiful picture.

And importantly, forgetting to trust in that bigger, beautiful picture.

At this Full Moon the Sun sits by Neptune in Pisces opposing the Moon.

This can cause a cloudiness, or fogginess, in either our thoughts or our experiences.

The shadow of this is to be deceived by either others, certain events, or perhaps most importantly, our emotions (the Moon).

The Full Moon trines Saturn in sensible, grounded, reality checker Capricorn, helping us (if we choose!) to be more logical and use our heads rather than letting our emotions rule us at this time.

Venus is in Pisces at the time of this Full Moon and makes a beautiful aspect to Jupiter in Scorpio, helping us to channel spiritual, intuitive, transformative energies to soulfully navigate this Full Moon to our advantage.

This Full Moon doesn't have to be 'bad' or even painful, if we choose to rethink how we think and to be prepared to change how we think!

When we change how we think, we can change our lives...

This is all in beautiful alignment with the Soulstrology theme for March 2018 which is to be prepared to surrender and change what we are, so we can become what we are meant to be!

This requires a great deal of trust and faith in the universe, your higher self and the process of life.

I have recorded a podcast episode on the specific Virgo theme of worrying and I hope it will be up at sometime on Thursday March 1st so I encourage you all to listen to that too as it has some specific tips and tools which I hope will help you at this Full Moon and beyond.

But for now, look at the life areas which are bubbling up in the moonlight.

Think about the themes raised in this blog and the general mantras for this Full Moon and use them to craft up some of your own mantras and release lists to help you to let go of the itty bitty small things which are weighing you down and to trust in and keep your eyes on that beautiful, bigger picture.

Full Moon Mantras:

I let go of my need to micromanage the unfolding of miracles in my life

I release my need to control matters and replace it with absolute faith in the flow of life

I embrace rethinking how I think about life and the matters which are bubbling up for me at this Full Moon

I choose to trust and believe in the bigger picture and that all is unfolding exactly as it is meant to

*Perhaps listen to the Full Moon Chiron meditation at the bottom of this post after reading these Mantras to help them really embed within your consciousness!*

I am wishing you all a healing, transformative and faith fueled Full Moon and start to March.

May each of us surrender to the waves of change and to becoming who we are meant to be and being where we are meant to be (rather than who we think we are meant to be or where we think we are meant to be!)

Love,

Ambi x

Virgo Full Moon Feels? Be a warrior, not a worrier!

Ambi Sitham

Either way, worrying is not the answer!

Either way, worrying is not the answer!

Hello lovely ones and happy Monday!

I have just returned from a long weekend in the Desert Hot Springs where I spent the majority of my time soaking in the healing mineral waters which flow through this tiny town in the California desert.

It was truly the perfect tonic for both Pisces season and for the forthcoming Full Moon in Virgo.

This Full Moon takes place this Thursday March 1st (talk about starting the new month with a bang!) in the earthy sign of Virgo.

Check the Soulstrology Zodiac guide below for the life areas which are being brought up into the lunar spotlight for your attention at this Full Moon.

For each of us, regardless of our zodiac sign, this Full Moon is likely to bring attention to Virgo ruled themes, namely - our daily routine, work and lifestyle and our health - mind/body/soul.

We are also likely to notice some of the shadow of Virgo bubbling up within us.

The Virgo shadow is nit picking, being critical of yourself or others, hypochondria, excessive worrying/overthinking (which manifests in OCD behavior, aka being controlling.

I often share how I am a Virgo rising and I will confess that I can relate to all of these shadow traits.....eek!

I will be writing more on this Full Moon later this week and just so you know, from now on my usual Soulstrology Full and New Moon blogs will now be Member only content and I will incorporate your lunar mantras into these blogs.

But for now, look at the life areas bubbling up into the lunar spotlight and check in with the Virgo shadow traits and see if/how they might be impacting you in the Virgo ruled parts of your charts/lives.

Pisces season 2018: Swimming with the flow...

Ambi Sitham

Cancer sun, Leo rising, Moon in Aries niece jumping for joy at the ocean January 2018

Cancer sun, Leo rising, Moon in Aries niece jumping for joy at the ocean January 2018

Hello lovely ones and happy Tuesday!

Yesterday the Sun moved into the Pisces zone of the zodiac and we are now officially in Pisces season.

As much as I love Aquarians, I am glad for the respite of Pisces season. I feel like after all that fire and air of the Leo/Aquarius eclipses and a slightly frazzled energy that the deep waters of Pisces season are a salve to our souls.

The Moon is slowly growing in the skies into a beautiful crescent shape and will reach fullness next week on March 1st for a Full Moon in Virgo where she will sit opposite the Sun in Pisces.

It is the Pisces areas of each of our lives which are getting lots of attention right now with both the Sun and Venus dancing alongside each other bringing the cosmic spotlight and Venusian energies to certain areas of our lives.

In the natural zodiac Pisces rules the twelfth house.

This is often referred to as the house of isolation and the hidden, of things which are submerged or hidden from view.

Either secret projects we work on behind the scenes, secrets we keep from others, deeply psychological matters which we may not even face ourselves.

It is who or what is submerged/hidden in our lives and is also often referred to in traditional astrology as the house of undoing, where we can understand  through our natal charts, how certain aspects in this twelfth house can lead us to be our own worst enemies, resulting in us drawing in frenemies, or even outright enemies.

However the twelfth is also a deeply spiritual and intuitive house and the house which governs our dreams.

Pisces rules a different area of each of our lives (and remember when reading the guide below to read for your Sun sign and your rising sign if you know it), but we are all best served to  also think about the above areas of life and use the Virgo Full Moon next week to release any old psychological garbage which may be resulting in us self-sabotaging in some way.

A few other tips for Pisces season:

  • Dreams  Take the time to acknowledge your dreams and make a note of them. It is likely that you will lucid dream more at this time and will receive messages which may not make sense right now, but are important. Keep a notebook by your bed and scribble down any dreams or messages as soon as you wake up.
  • Creativity Even if you don't think of yourself as a creative or have a creative job, allow yourself to indulge in a fun creative pursuit during this time to get your creative juices flowing which can help you in many areas of life. This is a time of heightened creativity so if you are a creative, make the most of it!
  • Connecting to your intuition Pisces season is a deeply intuitive time and whether you are channeling everyday or don't think of yourself as particularly intuitive try and connect further to your higher self and the GPS of your soul. I like to meditate and then free flow write a page afterwards and just see what comes out.
  • Enjoy the flow of water It's an amazing time to connect with natural bodies of water and to actually swim in them if possible (lakes, rivers, oceans and natural hot springs). Even if you can't swim or bathe in them find other ways to connect to the energy of water, seeing how you can float and flow in it and enjoying that feeling of being held. As always, I love salt baths but also love float immersion tanks which bring me so much peace and deep relaxation. Try and do as many water rituals as possible over the next lunar cycle.
  • Honor your emotions Pisces season can take us into the depth of our emotions and combined with the cosmic hangover from eclipse season this can bring us a range of intense emotions, some of which we may not particularly enjoy. Just remember that feeling is healing and honor whatever emotion comes up, knowing it has a purpose and by honoring it and allowing it to flow through you, you are not held ransom by it.

Enjoy the start to Pisces season and remember that we are asked by the cosmos to flow with faith this month, so swim with the flow of cosmic tides!

I am heading off for a long weekend away but will be back next week with Full Moon updates and more for you!

New Moon Solar Eclipse Aquarius Soulstrology zodiac guide and mantras!

Ambi Sitham

moon.jpg

Hello lovely ones and happy almost Aquarius solar eclipse/New Moon!

The partial solar eclipse will take place in a few hours (1.06pm PT) and today is still the dark moon where the sky is blank.

This allows us to draw on a fresh canvas, sketching out what we want to manifest, not only over the next month but also over the next six months, to the end of July and the Aquarius lunar eclipse, which will energetically close off this cosmic window (and end eclipse season 2018).

As I think you know by now, solar eclipses open up a very powerful manifesting window and if we work carefully with the energy of the eclipses we can create the kinds of shifts in six months which would normally take us years to manifest!

Talking of manifesting, I often prefer to write my manifesting lists a day or so after a New Moon, or solar eclipse.

This is because I find myself so busy around the lunar cycles that I don't really get much 'me' time.

Come the evening of a New Moon I normally treat myself to some self-care, going to a meditation, or soundbath and then wait for the energies to align and write my list the next morning, or at some point the next day.

Similarly, you may find yourself either busy with life, or find that your head is too full of astro insights, from Soulstrology to other sources.

Sometimes one needs a little processing time to let the mind settle and let the lists flow more fluidly than forcing a manifesting list.

To help you connect to your intuition and let your higher self guide you to plant the seeds of change at this New Moon/Solar eclipse I recorded this mini Members Only Soulstrology soundbath with the sounds and vibrations of a singing crystal bowl attuned to the note A (click at bottom of the blog).

I recommend reading the Soulstrology Solar Eclipse blog on the home page of the site and listening to this recording and asking your higher self to guide you as to what needs to change internally, in order for you to manifest externally.

Then, light a candle, find a fresh piece of paper and let the words flow.....

Also, just know that sometimes less is more and some of the most powerful manifesting months I have had have been where I didn't make lists (very hard for this Virgo rising!) or made a list with one simple line, "I manifest what is for my highest good and the greater good of all".

As a reminder of the general New Moon manifestation wording.

"I accept all of the below, or something even better, for my highest good and the greater good of all concerned"

To remind you of the life areas under the cosmic spotlight at this Aquarius New Moon Solar eclipse please see the Soulstrology Zodiac guide below.

Remember to read for your sun sign and rising sign, if you know it.

Finally, see further below for personalized mantras for this eclipse for your sign!

Again, read for your sun and rising sign!

Wishing you all a glorious New Moon Solar Eclipse!

Love,

Ambi x

Venus in Pisces February 11th 2018 - March 6th 2018: Love is endlessly beautiful and creative

Ambi Sitham

 A dreamy kinda love....

A dreamy kinda love....

Hello lovely ones and happy Wednesday/almost eclipse!

I hope eclipse season is treating you all well....

I am a couple of days late on this so my sincere apologies (lots of eclipse surprises and upsets for my loved ones so been trying to help them navigate that...)

On Sunday February 11th Venus planet of love, beauty, creativity, abundance and socializing moved into watery Pisces where she will stay until March 6th 2018.

The Sun will soon join Venus and move into Pisces on February 19th (next Monday) marking the official start of Pisces season so you can use the Soulstrology Venus in Pisces guide below to also know where the solar spotlight will be shining in your chart as of next week.

Look at where you have Pisces ruling houses in your natal chart as well as any planets you have in Pisces as this will give you an idea of the areas of life which will be infused with Venusian energies.

As always with Venus transits it's been over 18 months since Venus last visited this part of your chart and will be the same amount of time before she returns so as ever we want to make the most of the transit to the Pisces ruled parts of each of our charts.

Think infusing these areas of life with love, beauty, harmony, creativity and abundance!

Venus is a cosmic benefic after all and she is exalted in Pisces, meaning this is where she flourishes, so this is a really powerful transit coming up regardless of our sign but especially for you Pisces sun signs and Pisces risings as she will be dancing alongside the sun giving you that Venus filter glow!

As always, Soulstrology reminds us that there is shadow and light and duality to each planet and sign.

Here are the Soulstrology do's and don'ts for this Venus in Pisces transit.

DO'S

  • Be romantic Venus in Pisces is an extremely emotional and romantic placement which should encourage each of us (including anti Valentiners like myself!) to tap into the romantic side of ourselves. As this transit starts a few days before Valentines it is an opportunity to do something romantic for your significant other and if you are single to be creative in doing something loving for yourself or other loved ones.
  • Reconnect with your heart After the emotional detachment of Venus in Aquarius we are each asked to reconnect to our hearts and to favor our heart centered knowledge over our logical brains. What does your heart tell you about a certain situation or person? Whether romantic or otherwise, connect to your heart and let it guide you.
  • Creativity This is a highly intuitive and creative placement (after all Neptune is the ruler of Pisces and Venus rules creativity!) which can help us to tap into our higher creative selves without the censoring of our logical minds. Tap further into your right brain (the creative artistic side) allowing this to lead you over your logical left brain over this transit. Create because it feels good, not because of where it might lead to!
  • Care for your community This placement encourages us to extend our compassion outside of our inner circle and to wider society. Whether this is volunteering in a local community project or donating to a global humanitarian cause, make sure to extend some of that dreamy love to others outside of your immediate loved ones!

DON'TS

  • Be overly sensitive A shadow of this placement is to be way too sensitive. Yes sensitivity is a good trait but not when we are over sensitive (Pisces shadow!) Watch for being over sensitive either with loved ones or with the world at large.
  • Be co-dependent The shadow of Pisces/Neptune is lack of boundaries which can lead to co-dependency. Look carefully at all the relationships in your lives, romantic, personal and professional and identify any co-dependency and re-balance those scales!
  • Be non committal As much as this placement is all love, roses and dreaminess, it is notorious for fickleness when it comes to commitment and can be a bit flaky! Of course you must not commit to anything or anyone which doesn't feel right but equally watch for being flaky and giving people mixed signals.
  • Be deceitful The Neptune shadow is deception of others and self-deception. As much as you may not think of a lovely, sweet Pisces as being deceitful they are often the signs which can find themselves in a love triangle and or of some other type of deception with the truth being hidden underneath the surface. Watch for any tendencies to deceive yourselves or others during this time.

Pisces/Pisces risings a reminder that it's your time to enjoy what Soulstrology calls the Venus filter, with the cosmic goddess gracing your sun sign/rising sign, giving you that irresistible glow!

Enjoy it!

Whatever your sign, you will be enjoying this transit somewhere in your chart, and therefore life.

Below is the Soulstrology guide for this transit for each sign indicating which areas of life will be experiencing this transit and the Venus filter (and indeed Pisces season)

Read for your sun and rising sign and don't forget to check which planets you have in Pisces as these will be getting a nice boost from Venus too.

Soulstrology Soundbath: Crystal bowl Throat Chakra

Ambi Sitham

newbowlpic.JPG

Hello lovely ones and happy Wednesday!

I hope you all navigated last week's Leo Lunar eclipse smoothly...

I am recording a series of mini soundbaths to help align the chakras.

Each soundbath will be five to eight minutes during which you will hear the sounds and vibrations of a quartz crystal bowl relating to a specific chakra, as well as some chimes.

You can listen to these whenever you want but I recommend listening to it in the morning before you start your day.

As always, I highly recommend listening with headphones for maximum effect.

During this Soulstrology Soundbath you may want to visualize your breath as a white light which is filling up your throat area and helping remove any blocks or barriers to you speaking your truth and expressing yourself creatively.

Meditate on the energy of the eclipses and the change they are bringing and ask for this change to help you with communication and creativity.

I hope you enjoy!

Love,

Ambi x
